INSURANCE AND PRICING

Orenda Counseling Services is an IN-NETWORK provider with CIGNA. For all other providers an insurance reimbursement form will be provided either monthly or at time of service.

Depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, it is possible for services to be covered in full or in part. Please contact your provider to verify how your plan compensates you for psychotherapy services.

You can start by asking these questions to your insurance provider:

Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits?
Do we have an out of network deductible? If so, what is it and have we met it yet?
Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year we can have? If so, what is the limit?
Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?

Psychotherapy sessions typically last around 50 minutes unless we discuss otherwise.

Initial Evaluation: $200

Individual Session: $110-$175

Parent/Caregiver Session: $165-$225

Orenda accepts major credit and debit cards, as well as FSA/HSA Cards.

Payments are processed electronically at the time of your visit.

Training/Educational services are not recognized by insurance companies and are private pay only. Individual, Organizational, and Family packages are available and prices will be discussed at time of initial consultation.

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. If a cancellation happens within that 24 hour window, you do not show to your appointment, or you are more than 15 minutes late without prior notice, you will be charged for the full fee of your session.

GOOD FAITH ESTIMATE

The No Surprises Act targets transparency from health care providers, including decreasing the chances of acquiring a "surprise" medical/mental health bill.

As of January 1st, 2022 health care providers are required by law to issue a Good Faith Estimate (GFE) to clients and/or their guardians for services to clients who are not enrolled in a plan/coverage, a Federal health care program, or who are not seeking to file a claim with their coverage. The GFE is a notification of the established charges by the health care provider or the amount the provider would charge if the provider intended to bill an insurance company directly for the service rendered.

You will receive an electronic copy of your GFE via Simple Practice. This will also be stored in the client's HIPAA protected electronic medical record and will be accessible via your secure login.
